March, 2012

This exhibition explored the achievements of the Hungarian artist Béla Czóbel. He exerted a profound influence on the development of twentieth-century Hungarian art as well as made significant contributions to art movements within Europe. A comparison of his works from one period to another shows enormous diversity, but also the presence of a consistently robust, yet extremely sensitive artistic personality.
