Vinckboons himself executed a small number of etchings and engravings after his own works, but in the tradition of Pieter Bruegel, Vinckboons also created many drawings made to be engraved or etched by other artists.  It appears that the works of Vinckboons were more often reproduced than those of any other artist in the early seventeenth century in northern Netherlands.  Engravers and etchers inspired by the works of Vinckboons included Nicholaes de Bruyn, Claes Janz Vischer, Pieter Serwouters and Jan van Londerseel.
